The UNC Asian American Studies Workgroup includes students, faculty, staff, and alumni from UNC and Duke who are interested in expanding the offering of Asian American Studies courses at UNC-Chapel Hill. We will be developing a needs assessment and proposal for submission to the University administration later this year.
We have various ongoing projects. If you're interested in any of them, please get in touch with the coordinator.

We now have the hard copy of the full 1996 proposal from the task force at the University of Texas. It's very helpful. Contact me if you need a copy.
We are all focusing on cross-institutional information gathering (# 8 on the task list). Assignments will be distributed soon.
